A gentle cool breeze lightly lifts my hair
The dandelions look like little smiling suns
Giving the green grass sea some flair
The dewdrops sparkle like diamonds, floating in the grass
I want to reach out and touch them
They tingle my feet as I pass
The orange tree reaches long bows down
Clad with their bounty of big round oranges
They look like they're trying to touch the ground
To reach some of the diamonds floating there
The morning sun's giving everything this soft glow
It is starting to warm the day

It makes the roses stand out so,
And it makes the tomatoes grow
The pool looks so smooth and shiny just like glass
I put my finger in and wrinkle the surface
The sun touches the ripples as they pass
The passion flowers, oleander and roses of all different colors
Are set off perfectly by their green frames
The oleander flowers look like powder puffs
And those orange roses, like little flames
There's not a cloud up in the sky today
The birdies are flitting here and there
Just another perfect day
