Poems by Aubrey O'Fallon
who would have thought
-the world-
could be contained in a smile
two fingers
on one peice of paper
or a breath on my neck
maybe I'm a fool
[I know I am]
but you made my blood
run faster
with something
that tasted like life
who can explain how or why
the heart responds
the way it does
its just a chemical equation
[it doesn't even
-matter-]
all I know is
now that you're gone
I cant remember
why I'm still here
drowning...
in the echoes of your name
